It also includes AWC (Wheelie Control), AEB (Engine Brake) and AEM (Engine Map) which features a range of settings allowing you to vary the character of the power delivery. Euro 5+ twin-cylinder engine
The forward-facing twin-cylinder engine with four valves per cylinder takes performance to the next level in terms of the category. Euro 5+ compliant, it features 52-mm throttle bodies and Ride-by-Wire technology that makes it capable of reaching top power of 105 hp and peak torque of 70 Nm at 8400 rpm, ensuring precise, exhilarating power delivery. A perfect power-to-weight ratio, thanks to a curb weight of just 183 kg.
Advanced braking technology
The Aprilia RS 660 Factory comes with a six-axis IMU as standard. This detects the bike’s position relative to the road, records and processes riding inputs and sends the data to the ECU. Also included as standard is multimap Cornering ABS, which optimises braking and ABS intervention in corners. Via a specific algorithm, it continuously monitors various parameters such as lateral acceleration, pressure on the front brake lever, lean angle, pitch and yaw, adjusting braking action to strike the perfect balance between deceleration and stability.
