APRILIA RS 457

UNRIVALLED POWER-TO-WEIGHT RATIO
The Aprilia RS 457 speaks the language of riders who aren’t afraid to demand more and are ready to try a bike with fairing while looking for an authentic sports experience. In other words, it offers the best power-to-weight ratio that can be ridden with an A2 licence. Sporting the hallmark RS family grunt and style, it makes a statement with its advanced technology and a chassis structure inherited from Aprilia’s supersport bikes. The RS 457 is an unadulterated invitation to take the plunge into the fascinating world of racing.

The RS 457: advanced and incisive
The Aprilia RS 457’s outstanding performance is the result of uncompromising advanced technical solutions such as an aluminium frame that incorporates the engine as a load-bearing element. The adjustable fork and brakes with dual-channel ABS and dual-mapping mean you always have maximum control.

Any more power and it would be illegal
The Aprilia RS 457 is powered by an ultra-modern, high-tech liquid-cooled parallel twin-cylinder engine with dual camshaft timing and four valves per cylinder, capable of 35 KW of power, the maximum for a bike that can be ridden with an A2 licence. With a dry weight of just 159 kg, it all adds up to a power-to-weight ratio that makes the Aprilia RS 457 simply unbeatable.

Semi-handlebars
Semi-handlebars mounted above the steering yoke create an ergonomic benefit and the perfect compromise between a sporty riding position and overall comfort.

Full LED
The full-LED headlight, featuring the lighting style synonymous with new-gen Aprilia models, is paired with built-in indicators.

Suspension
The 41-mm fork with 120 mm travel features preload adjustment, as does the rear monoshock, which works on the steel swingarm and offers 130 mm wheel travel.

Brake system
The front braking package consists of a 320-mm disc with a ByBre radial-mount 4-piston calliper while at the rear you’ll find a 220-mm disc and ByBre calliper. Add to this dual-channel ABS with dual mapping which can be adjusted so that it is only active on the front wheel, and you have sports-style braking that is always impeccable.

Wheel rims
The 17” sports wheel rims are decked with 110/70 tyres at the front and 150/60 at the rear, the perfect dimensions for providing excellent grip but without sacrificing agility, making this aspect yet another defining point of the new Aprilia.
