2025 YAMAHA YZF-R7

Stunning & Bad-Ass Black Out Edition

Absolutely Pristine Showroom New Condition

Loaded With Premium Michelin's, ASV, Rizoma, NRC, & Puig Upgrades & It is Literally Spotless

Feast your eyes on the sharpest-looking Yamaha YZF-R7 we have ever had in our showroom. Finished in sinister gloss and matte black with carefully selected premium upgrades, this R7 has an incredibly clean, cohesive, “murdered-out” appearance.

This motorcycle was recently traded toward a new Ducati Panigale V2. The previous owner was exceptionally meticulous and ceramic-coated the motorcycle Several times. That level of care is immediately apparent: the paint and bodywork shine beautifully, the chain and sprockets are exceptionally clean, and the upgraded Michelin tires are like new.

Every upgrade was selected with quality and appearance in mind, and everything was installed cleanly. The result is a brand new R7 with tasteful enhancements that would cost a substantial amount to duplicate.

Premium Upgrades

  • ASV adjustable brake and clutch levers

  • Rizoma lever guards

  • Rizoma rear stand spools

  • NRC integrated taillight and fender-eliminator kit

  • Genuine Yamaha color-matched rear seat cowl

  • Original passenger seat included

  • Puig smoked windscreen

  • Premium Michelin performance tires

  • Tank and knee-grip pads

  • Black powder-coated exhaust heat shield

  • Black powder-coated exhaust-tip cover

  • Ceramic-coated finish maintained by its previous owner

The NRC integrated taillight eliminates the oversized factory rear fender and combines the taillight and turn signals into a clean, streamlined package. The genuine Yamaha rear cowl replaces the passenger seat for a purposeful solo-rider appearance, while the included original seat allows the motorcycle to be returned to two-passenger configuration.

The smoked Puig windscreen, black powder-coated exhaust components, Rizoma hardware, and premium ASV levers complement the factory black finish perfectly. Nearly every visible component follows the blacked-out theme, allowing the chrome Yamaha tuning-fork emblems to stand out like jewelry against the tank.

The Yamaha R7

The YZF-R7 is widely considered one of the best middleweight sport motorcycles on the market. Rather than chasing the extreme peak horsepower of a traditional four-cylinder 600cc supersport, Yamaha designed the R7 around its proven 689cc CP2 parallel-twin engine.

Its 270-degree crossplane-style crankshaft gives the engine a distinctive character, strong low- and midrange torque, and a deep exhaust note—especially when paired with an aftermarket exhaust system. Producing 73 horsepower and 49 lb-ft of torque, the R7 delivers smooth, accessible power that is exciting on a back road without being exhausting in everyday use.

The CP2 engine has earned an outstanding reputation for reliability, fuel economy, and low maintenance costs. It is the same basic engine architecture used in Yamaha’s enormously successful MT-07, but the R7 surrounds it with considerably more focused suspension, braking, chassis, and aerodynamic equipment.

Tyler, Our highly experienced R7 rider inspected this motorcycle with us and confirmed just how clean and tastefully upgraded it is. His own CP2-powered R7 has accumulated more than 20,000 miles of extremely demanding riding without any issues—a strong testament to the durability of Yamaha’s CP2 platform.

Chassis and Performance

The R7’s lightweight steel frame and narrow parallel-twin engine produce a slim, balanced motorcycle that is easy to place through corners. Compared with the softer MT-07, the R7 offers a much more precise and controlled riding experience.

Factory equipment includes:

  • Fully adjustable 41mm KYB inverted front fork

  • Adjustable linked rear monoshock

  • Dual 298mm front brake rotors

  • Radial-mounted front brake calipers

  • Brembo radial front master cylinder

  • Six-speed transmission

  • Assist-and-slipper clutch

  • Anti-lock braking system

  • LED lighting

  • LCD instrument display

  • Factory wiring for Yamaha’s optional quick shifter

The slipper clutch helps prevent rear-wheel hop or lockup during aggressive downshifts, giving the rider greater confidence when entering a corner. Yamaha also prewired the motorcycle for its optional quick shifter, making that an easy future upgrade for anyone who wants an even more track-focused setup.

The R7 keeps its electronic package refreshingly straightforward. It includes ABS and a slipper clutch but does not rely on multiple ride modes, traction control, wheelie control, an inertial measurement unit, or cornering ABS. For riders who prefer a direct mechanical connection with the motorcycle, that simplicity is one of the R7’s greatest strengths.

Factory Specifications

  • Engine: 689cc liquid-cooled CP2 parallel twin

  • Crankshaft: 270-degree crossplane-style

  • Horsepower: Approximately 73 HP

  • Torque: Approximately 49 lb-ft

  • Transmission: Six-speed

  • Wet weight: Approximately 414 pounds

  • Seat height: Approximately 32.9 inches

  • Fuel capacity: 3.4 gallons

  • Estimated fuel economy: Up to 58 MPG

  • 0–60 MPH: Approximately 3.5–3.8 seconds

  • Quarter mile: Under 12 seconds under favorable conditions

  • Estimated top speed: 135–140 MPH, depending on rider and conditions

The R7’s greatest strength is not simply its top speed—it is how approachable and enjoyable the motorcycle is. Strong torque arrives early, the power delivery is smooth, the chassis feels light and responsive, and the riding position is more manageable than many uncompromising supersport machines.

It is fast enough to be genuinely exciting, capable enough for track days, and friendly enough to ride regularly. This is the kind of sport bike that encourages you to put on miles rather than wanting to park it after twenty minutes.

Condition

This R7 is literally absolutely perfect and showroom new, truly exceptional. It arrived at our dealership in such outstanding condition that it required virtually none of the usual cosmetic reconditioning associated with a preowned motorcycle.

The bodywork, controls, drivetrain, hardware, tires, and overall finish all reflect extremely careful ownership. The motorcycle was traded solely because its owner stepped up to a new Ducati Panigale V2.

If you have been searching for a black R7, this is the one to own. It combines Yamaha’s renowned CP2 reliability with premium name-brand accessories, a beautifully executed blacked-out appearance, and the condition of a motorcycle that has been treated like a prized museum possession.
