Description
New Stark VARG MX 80HP ALPHA
"American Eagle" Hillclimb / Drag Race Special Build
Brand New With 2.4 Miles
Rat Racing Custom / One of One
The Ultimate 80 HP Electric Hillclimb & Drag Race Weapon
New With 22 Months left on Factory Warranty
If you're looking for the most advanced electric hillclimb or drag race motorcycle ever built, you've found it.
This is our one-of-one Stark VARG MX 1.0 "American Eagle", professionally engineered by Kaplan Cycles in collaboration with Rat Racing, one of America's premier hillclimb race shops.
Showing only 2.4 original miles, this motorcycle is essentially brand new and includes 22 months of transferable factory warranty remaining.
This isn't simply a modified Stark VARG—it is a purpose-built race package engineered to solve the one challenge every 80-horsepower electric motorcycle faces:
Traction.
With an incredible 674 lb-ft of torque, the standard VARG is capable of overpowering virtually any terrain. Our solution was the development of the American Eagle Extended Swingarm Race Kit, transforming the bike into an incredibly stable, hard-launching hillclimb, drag race, sand drag, and grass drag machine.
The result?
At the legendary Munson Hillclimb, this motorcycle immediately ran over one full second faster than my purpose-built Honda CR500 hillclimb bike—a machine I've spent over many years developing. In hill climbing, one second is the difference between running with the leaders and finishing in the middle of the pack.
The first ride on this motorcycle can best be described as cheating.
No clutch.
No shifting.
No engine vibration.
Just point it at the hill, open the throttle, and hang on.

Whether you're introducing a new rider to off-road riding or competing in professional hillclimb events, this motorcycle adapts instantly.

Stark Reliability

• No valve adjustments
• No piston replacements
• No air filters

• No transmission servicing
The drivetrain has proven exceptionally reliable, with customers accumulating hundreds of hours of use on the original powertrain.
Even better, this motorcycle includes approximately 22 months of transferable factory warranty, providing outstanding peace of mind for the next owner.

Why We're Selling It
We originally built this motorcycle to campaign at the Gunstock National Hillclimb.
Unfortunately, we're currently investing over a quarter-million dollars into the expansion of our dealership and simply haven't had the time to compete this season.
Rather than let this incredible machine sit, we'd rather see it in the hands of someone who will enjoy it.
About Kaplan Cycles
Kaplan Cycles is proud to North America's leading Stark VARG dealer.
Every motorcycle we sell is fully assembled, professionally inspected, and delivered ready to ride—not shipped in a crate.
We provide nationwide shipping along with expert sales, technical support, warranty assistance, and unmatched customer service before and after the sale.
If you've been looking for the ultimate electric hillclimb, drag race, or custom VARG build, you will not find another motorcycle like this anywhere.
This is the only Stark American Eagle built to this specification.
When it's gone, it's gone.
Please review all photos carefully and feel free to contact us with any questions regarding this incredible one-of-a-kind motorcycle.
Thank you for looking, and God Bless America.
