Description

2024 SUZUKI GSX-8R

Absolutely Pristine Showroom New Condition 584 Miles

New Upgraded Michelin Tires & Tail Tidy

This GSX-8R is absolutely pristine. It is virtually indistinguishable from new and already has two premium upgrades most owners would want immediately:

  • Premium Michelin tires front and rear

  • Professionally installed tail-tidy kit

  • Bidirectional quick shifter

  • Full Suzuki Intelligent Ride System electronics package

  • Showa inverted front suspension

  • Full LED lighting

  • Excellent cosmetic and mechanical condition

Between the Michelin tires, tail-tidy kit, parts, and dealer installation, you could spend close to $1,000 duplicating these upgrades on a new motorcycle. Here, they are already installed and ready to enjoy.

This bike was recently traded at Kaplan Cycles toward a new Ducati Panigale. It cost its previous owner more than $11,000 out the door with the upgrades, yet it is now available for a substantial discounted out the door Price.

If you want the aggressive appearance of a modern supersport but don’t want to be folded up like a pretzel every time you ride, the GSX-8R deserves a serious look.

Suzuki gave the GSX-8R the full-fairing appearance and unmistakable silhouette of a high-performance sport bike while retaining relatively comfortable, real-world ergonomics. Its handlebars are positioned considerably higher than those of a GSX-R600 or GSX-R750, creating a more upright and manageable riding position.

You get the look of a full-on superbike without the extreme riding position normally associated with one. This is a motorcycle you can enjoy for hours without feeling like you need a chiropractor when you get home.

Torquey 776cc Parallel-Twin Engine

At the heart of the GSX-8R is Suzuki’s 776cc liquid-cooled DOHC parallel-twin engine with a 270-degree crankshaft.

That crankshaft configuration gives the engine a more aggressive character and exhaust note than a traditional parallel twin. More importantly, it delivers strong low-end and midrange torque—exactly where most riders use their power on the street.

You don’t have to rev this motorcycle to the moon to make it move. Crack the throttle and it pulls hard, making the GSX-8R responsive, exciting, and exceptionally usable in everyday riding.

Power is delivered through a six-speed transmission equipped with one of this motorcycle’s best standard features: a bidirectional quick shifter. You can shift up or down without operating the clutch once underway. After getting accustomed to it, you may never want to go back.

Advanced Suzuki Electronics

Suzuki equipped the GSX-8R with a comprehensive suite of rider technology, including:

  • Ride-by-wire throttle

  • Selectable power-delivery modes

  • Multi-level traction control

  • Bidirectional quick shifter

  • Suzuki Easy Start System

  • Low RPM Assist

  • Suzuki Intelligent Ride System

Whether you’re an experienced rider who wants to reduce the electronic intervention or someone moving into a first serious middleweight sport bike, the GSX-8R can be adjusted to complement your riding style and experience level.

More Than a GSX-8S With Fairings

The GSX-8R is not simply a GSX-8S with additional bodywork.

In addition to its striking full fairing, the 8R receives a Showa SFF-BP inverted front fork, giving it a planted, precise feel when the road gets twisty. Up front, dual brake discs with radial-mounted four-piston calipers provide strong, confidence-inspiring stopping performance.

Visually, it has a thoroughly modern Suzuki identity. The vertically stacked LED headlights, sharply sculpted fairings, compact tail section, and aggressive sport-bike profile give it serious presence from every angle.

Real-World Performance

Key specifications include:

  • 776cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine

  • 270-degree crankshaft

  • Six-speed transmission

  • Bidirectional quick shifter

  • Approximately 31.9-inch seat height

  • Approximately 3.7-gallon fuel capacity

  • Approximately 452-pound curb weight

  • Showa SFF-BP inverted front fork

  • Dual front discs with radial four-piston calipers

  • Full LED lighting

The GSX-8R sits in a real-world sweet spot. It feels substantial and stable at highway speeds, yet remains light and agile enough to throw through a winding back road or enjoy during a track day.

The Perfect Step-Up Motorcycle

If you’re coming from a Kawasaki Ninja 400 or 500, Yamaha YZF-R3, KTM RC 390, or another smaller-displacement motorcycle, the GSX-8R is an excellent next step—and one you are unlikely to outgrow quickly.

At the same time, it offers enough performance and chassis capability to keep a highly experienced rider entertained on the street or track.

The GSX-8R doesn’t try to be a 190-horsepower superbike. Instead, it delivers performance you can actually use. You can open the throttle, work the transmission, run through the gears, and experience the motorcycle’s capabilities without traveling at outrageous speeds everywhere you go.

Add Suzuki’s longstanding reputation for durability, reliability, straightforward maintenance, and relatively affordable ownership, and you have one of the smartest real-world sport bikes Suzuki has introduced in years.

Why Buy This GSX-8R?

  • Pristine, virtually showroom-new cosmetic condition

  • Expensive Michelin tire upgrade

  • Tail-tidy kit already installed

  • Aggressive full-fairing supersport styling

  • Comfortable real-world ergonomics

  • Strong and usable 776cc performance

  • Standard bidirectional quick shifter

  • Adjustable rider electronics

  • Upgraded Showa front suspension

  • Suzuki reliability and comparatively affordable ownership

  • Thousands less than duplicating this package with a brand-new motorcycle

You do not need to spend $15,000 or $20,000 to own an exciting, technologically advanced sport bike.

This GSX-8R represents an exceptional value.

It’s beautiful, fast, comfortable, loaded with technology, and—most importantly—it is a motorcycle you can get out and enjoy every day.
