2022 SWM RE500R / Husqvarna 500 DNA

SHOWROOM NEW & MINT

Essentially Brand New With Only 170 Miles

50-State Street Legal

Stunning Italian-Built Big-Bore Enduro

If you're looking for one motorcycle that can truly do it all, this 2022 SWM RE500R deserves your attention. Combining race-bike DNA with full street legality, this Italian-built 500cc enduro is equally at home carving back roads, conquering technical single-track, commuting to work, or exploring backcountry trails. With virtually no miles and preserved as part of a private collection, this example is about as close to a brand-new motorcycle as you'll find.

From the moment you see it, it's obvious this isn't an ordinary dual-sport. The aggressive black bodywork, bright red frame, factory-style graphics, ribbed gripper seat, red valve cover, and premium components give it the appearance of a factory race machine straight from the crate. Every detail reflects SWM's Italian heritage and attention to craftsmanship.

Condition

This RE500R has essentially 170 miles, It spent its life as a display piece in a private collection and has never been dropped, never ridden off-road, and shows virtually no signs of use.

The original Michelin tires are still in like-new condition, with no noticeable wear on the footpegs, controls, or chassis. Everything presents exactly as you would expect from a motorcycle that has been carefully stored and meticulously maintained.

Prior to listing, our service department completed a full inspection, making this motorcycle ready for its next owner.

Premium Factory Equipment

Unlike many dual-sports that require thousands of dollars in upgrades, the SWM arrives exceptionally well-equipped from the factory, including:

  • High-performance 500cc DOHC four-stroke engine

  • Electronic fuel injection

  • Electric start

  • Smooth-shifting 6-speed transmission

  • Hydraulic clutch

  • KYB (Kayaba) suspension

  • Massive CNC triple clamps

  • Lightweight chrome-moly steel frame

  • Lightweight aluminum swingarm

  • Aluminum subframe

  • Brembo hydraulic braking system

  • Oversized front brake rotor with twin-piston caliper

  • Braided stainless brake lines

  • WRP aluminum exhaust with carbon-fiber end cap

  • ProTaper handlebars

  • Black anodized rims

  • Michelin Enduro tires (140/80-18 rear)

  • Quick-release seat for easy maintenance

  • Radiator cooling fan for slow-speed riding and traffic

  • Full LED lighting package

  • Turn signals

  • Horn

  • License plate holder

Best of all, this motorcycle is 50-state street legal right from the factory.

Legendary Husqvarna Heritage

One of the most fascinating aspects of the SWM story is its heritage.

When Husqvarna changed ownership, SWM acquired the historic Italian Husqvarna manufacturing facility along with much of its tooling and engineering. The result is a motorcycle that carries forward the proven DNA of the legendary Italian-built Husqvarna TE platform.

The RE500R features the same philosophy that made those bikes famous: lightweight handling, outstanding durability, and explosive big-bore four-stroke performance. Enthusiasts who appreciate the classic Italian Husqvarna lineage immediately recognize what these motorcycles represent.

Performance

If you've never ridden a modern 500cc performance enduro, prepare yourself.

The RE500R delivers mountains of torque with crisp throttle response and incredible engine braking. It has the kind of power that makes effortless wheelies possible in virtually every gear, yet the six-speed transmission provides relaxed highway cruising when the pavement begins.

This is truly one of those rare motorcycles that can:

  • Ride to work during the week

  • Explore back roads on weekends

  • Conquer technical hard enduro trails

  • Handle motocross practice days

  • Cruise to the beach

  • Tackle adventure rides with ease

Few motorcycles offer this level of versatility while weighing significantly less than a traditional adventure bike.

Fuel & Maintenance

This motorcycle has been run exclusively on VP 94 ethanol-free fuel and has received excellent care throughout its life.

Everything functions exactly as it should and needs absolutely nothing.
