THE KING OF SPEED! ONE OF THE FINEST ORIGINAL 1993 KAWASAKI ZX-11 SUPERBIKES YOU WILL EVER FIND!

Kaplan Cycles is proud to offer this absolutely spectacular one owner since new 1993 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-11, an exceptionally well-preserved example of one of the most legendary high-performance motorcycles ever produced.

Finished in breathtaking Candy Brandywine red, this 33-year-old superbike looks as though it could have rolled off the Kawasaki showroom floor yesterday. The original paint is absolutely stunning, the factory bodywork is extraordinarily well preserved, and the overall fit and finish are nothing short of remarkable.

This is not a restored motorcycle. This is a meticulously maintained, exceptionally original one owner survivor that has been cared for at an extraordinary level since new.

Previously owned by a mature enthusiast who maintained and stored the motorcycle indoors, this ZX-11 was clearly a prized possession. The one owner reluctantly decided to part with it due to advancing age and health concerns.

It is increasingly difficult to find an early-generation ZX-11 that hasn't been modified, raced, abused, dropped, or neglected. Finding one in this extraordinary condition, with its original finish, one meticulous owner, the factory exhaust, factory bodywork, and beautifully preserved components, is exceptionally rare.

We have handled countless collectible Japanese motorcycles here at Kaplan Cycles, and this the finest original 1993 ZX-11 examples we have ever encountered.

THE WORLD'S FASTEST PRODUCTION MOTORCYCLE – A KAWASAKI LEGEND!

When Kawasaki introduced the ZX-11 in 1990, it immediately established itself as one of the most technologically advanced and fastest production motorcycles on the planet.

For approximately six years, from 1990 through 1996, the ZX-11 reigned as the benchmark for production-motorcycle top-speed performance.

With its massive 1,052cc liquid-cooled DOHC 16-valve inline-four engine, 145 horsepower, and top-speed capability approaching 180 MPH, the ZX-11 became the undisputed king of high-speed Japanese superbikes.

Its performance figures were astonishing for the era, delivering tremendous acceleration, exceptional quarter-mile performance, and an incredible combination of horsepower, torque, refinement, and high-speed stability.

But what truly made the ZX-11 special was that Kawasaki didn't simply build an all-out speed machine.

They engineered an extraordinarily capable motorcycle that could comfortably cruise at highway speeds, carry a passenger, and cover hundreds of miles with the smoothness and refinement of a premium sport-tourer.

Its powerful four-cylinder engine delivers incredible low- and midrange torque, allowing effortless cruising at 3,000–4,000 RPM, while still providing breathtaking acceleration when called upon.

The aerodynamic full fairing provides excellent wind protection, the chassis delivers reassuring stability, and the engine runs remarkably smoothly.

The ZX-11 was a motorcycle that could dominate the highway and still be comfortable enough to ride across the country.

More than three decades later, its engineering, performance, and timeless styling remain incredibly impressive.

EXCEPTIONAL ORIGINAL ONE OWNER CONDITION – A TRUE TIME CAPSULE!

What makes this particular ZX-11 so special is its extraordinary level of preservation.

Take a close look at the photographs and video. This motorcycle is absolutely stunning.

The original Candy Brandywine paint has a deep, brilliant shine that must be seen in person to be fully appreciated. The fuel tank, front fender, fairings, and tail section are beautifully preserved.

There is no evidence that this motorcycle has ever been dropped or involved in an accident.

The bodywork is exceptionally clean, with no significant blemishes observed during our inspection.

The original factory decals, tank graphics, aluminum wheels, chrome exhaust components, and original hardware are all in outstanding condition.

Even the original instrument cluster and gauges are remarkably well preserved, with exceptional clarity and finish.

Condition highlights include:

  • Spectacular original Candy Brandywine paint

  • Exceptionally preserved factory fairings and bodywork

  • Beautiful original fuel tank with outstanding gloss

  • Pristine-looking original instrument cluster and gauges

  • Original factory exhaust system in excellent condition

  • Beautiful factory aluminum wheels

  • Excellent brake discs and original cycle parts

  • Original reflectors and factory equipment retained

  • Exceptionally clean front fender and tail section

  • Excellent chain and drivetrain components

  • Indoor-stored and meticulously cared for

  • No visible evidence of being dropped or abused

  • Remarkably original, unmodified mechanical configuration

  • Freshly serviced by Kaplan Cycles

The condition of this motorcycle is truly remarkable when you consider that it is now more than three decades old.

Sportbikes of this generation were frequently ridden hard, heavily modified, repainted, or damaged. Many have long since disappeared.

To find a ZX-11 this original, this well preserved, and this mechanically sorted is an extraordinary opportunity for a collector or enthusiast.

TASTEFUL PERIOD-CORRECT UPGRADES

This motorcycle remains extremely close to its original factory configuration, with only a handful of tasteful upgrades that enhance its appearance, comfort, and rideability.

Corbin Custom Saddle with Red Piping

The beautiful Corbin saddle provides enhanced rider comfort while perfectly complementing the motorcycle's rich red paint. The custom red piping is an especially attractive detail.

Lockhart Phillips Speed Screen Tinted Windshield

The upgraded black-tinted Lockhart Phillips Speed Screen complements the factory bodywork beautifully. Its slightly taller and longer profile provides additional wind protection compared with the original screen.

Bridgestone Battlax BT57 Radial Tires

The motorcycle is equipped with a matching set of Bridgestone Battlax radial tires with very limited use, estimated at approximately 150–250 miles.

These upgrades maintain the classic character of the ZX-11 while enhancing comfort, appearance, and performance.

OVER $1,600 IN RECENT PROFESSIONAL SERVICE – READY TO RIDE!

Unlike many collectible motorcycles that look beautiful but require substantial mechanical work, this ZX-11 has just undergone comprehensive professional servicing here at Kaplan Cycles.

Total Recent Service Investment: $1,614

Our technicians carefully inspected, serviced, and fine-tuned this motorcycle to ensure it performs as beautifully as it looks.

  9. Flushed and bled the hydraulic clutch system using premium Motorex DOT 5.1 fluid.

  10. Replaced brake hydraulic fluid.

  11. Installed new Domino Stradale street motorcycle grips.

  12. Performed engine oil and filter service using premium Spectro 10W-40 motorcycle oil.

  13. Inspected the chain, tires, brakes, and major running components.

  14. Completed a road test to verify smooth engine operation, carburetor synchronization, and overall performance.

The results speak for themselves.

This motorcycle starts, runs, shifts, accelerates, and rides exceptionally well. The carburetion is smooth and responsive, the engine pulls strongly throughout the RPM range, and the motorcycle demonstrates the remarkable refinement that made the ZX-11 legendary.

The engine is incredibly smooth, with minimal vibration, and the mirrors remain remarkably steady while riding.

The brakes, clutch, suspension, and general handling are equally impressive.

This is a motorcycle that looks like a showroom collectible but can still be enjoyed exactly as Kawasaki intended.

Today, original, unmolested examples are becoming increasingly difficult to locate.

Finding one with beautiful original paint, unmodified factory exhaust, exceptional cosmetics, documented recent maintenance, and outstanding road manners is especially challenging.

This particular motorcycle would make a fantastic addition to any significant collection of Japanese superbikes, a centerpiece in a motorcycle showroom, or an exceptional weekend rider for someone who appreciates legendary engineering.
