Description
1991 HONDA CUB EZ90
Stunning Frame-Off Restoration
A Rare Two-Year-Only Model
Electric Start, Runs Like New With 140 PSI Compression
Feast your eyes on one of Honda's most unique and collectible creations—the legendary 1991 Honda Cub EZ90.
In over 15 years at Kaplan Cycles, we had never restored one of these rare machines. Ironically, this year we've had three come through our shop. The first two sold immediately, and based on the response we've received, we don't expect this one to last long.
The Honda Cub EZ90 was produced for only two model years, making it one of the rarest and most interesting motorcycles Honda ever built. Designed to create an entirely new category of lightweight recreational motorcycle, the EZ90 combines the simplicity of a scooter with the fun and capability of a trail bike.
Powered by a spirited 90cc two-stroke engine, the EZ90 features:
-
Electric start
-
Automatic transmission (no clutch or shifting required)
-
Lightweight design (approximately 150 lbs.)
-
Trail and campground capability
-
Excellent pit bike or recreational machine
-
Street-friendly ergonomics where permitted
Its incredibly simple operation made it perfect for beginners, campers, RV owners, and pit bike enthusiasts. Unfortunately, that's also why so many were ridden hard and eventually worn out.
Finding an original example in this condition is exceptionally difficult.
