2024 GasGas TXT 300 GP Trials Bike
Factory Edition Loaded With Thousands $ In Upgrades;
Akrapovič Pipe, Kashima Forks, CNC Upgrades & Much More
Brand New 2024 GasGas TXT 300 GP With only 25 Miles, a top-tier factory-edition trials machine. With its premium components, legendary trials performance, and meticulous care, this bike represents an outstanding opportunity to own one of the most capable trials bikes on the market for a fraction of its original price.
This particular bike belongs to Bill Blythe, Kaplan Cycles’ 68 Year old purchasing agent and curator for the New England Motorcycle Museum. Bill has been involved in trials riding for decades and was actually a factory rider for Ossa in the 1970s. Now Bill rides strictly for fun and recreation. This bike was never raced or competed on—all of its riding time was spent practicing casually around his grass on his property.
If you call Kaplan Cycles, there’s a good chance Bill himself will answer the phone and tell you all about it.

Reservoir caps
-
Control mounts

Engine & Performance
The 300cc two-stroke trials engine is renowned for its incredible low-end torque and precise throttle response.
Unlike traditional two-strokes, trials bikes do not use large expansion chambers. Instead, they are tuned for instant low-RPM torque, allowing riders to crawl through the most technical rock sections and obstacles with absolute control.
Key features include:
-
Keihin carburetor with excellent factory jetting
-
Crisp throttle response and smooth idle
-
Hydraulic clutch
-
Powerful trials brakes
-
Two engine maps (aggressive & soft)
-
Electric cooling fan with temperature switch
These bikes excel in first and second gear technical riding, but they also pull smoothly through the higher gears when needed.
KTM Group Engineering Improvements
GasGas is a historic Spanish brand built in Barcelona, Spain. When the KTM Group acquired GasGas in 2019, they invested heavily in improving the platform:
-
Updated engine specifications
-
Revised Tech suspension
-
Improved cooling system and fan
-
Updated kickstarter design
-
New bodywork and graphics
All previous issues were addressed with KTM’s engineering and manufacturing resources, making the modern TXT series better than ever.
Condition
This bike has very low hours with only a handful of recreational rides.
-
100% Original Including The Original tires
-
Original grips, controls, and bars
-
Factory components throughout
-
Light frame wear typical of Light trials riding
Overall, it presents exactly how you would expect from a nearly new $10,000 trials bike that has been ridden lightly by an experienced veteran rider.
It runs beautifully and is ready to ride, compete, or collect.
Additional Features
-
LED headlight with on/off switch
-
Map switch (aggressive / mild mode)
-
Electric cooling fan
-
Lightweight trials chassis
-
Premium factory GP edition trim
