The legendary Yamaha “T-Dub” is back — and this one is about as close to brand new as you’ll ever find without paying dealership prep fees, freight charges, setup fees, and all the other nonsense. Feast your eyes on this absolutely pristine 2020 Yamaha TW200 with only 1,743 original miles!

If you know these bikes, you already know they’ve developed a massive cult following over the last 40 years. The TW200, affectionately known as the “T-Dub,” has become one of the most beloved and versatile motorcycles Yamaha has ever built. Riders love them because they’re simple, bulletproof reliable, insanely fun to ride, and capable of going just about anywhere.

This particular bike came from one of our longtime clients who traded it in on a brand-new 186-horsepower Buell 1190. He originally bought the TW200 for his daughter to learn to ride on. They rode together occasionally, but she eventually started a family and stopped riding, so the bike remained lightly used and meticulously cared for.

The condition speaks for itself.

This TW200 is factory fresh and bone stock, exactly the way enthusiasts want to find them. It has never been off-road abused, never beaten on, never crashed, and has clearly lived an easy life. The paint, engine cases, frame, plastics, and hardware are all exceptionally clean. The metallic black paint with gray, gold, and white graphics absolutely pops in the sunlight.

We just completed a full Kaplan Cycles rotisserie detail and service, including:

• Fresh oil and filter service
• Brand new battery
• Fresh VP fuel
• Gold chain upgrade
• Full professional detail
• Complete inspection and safety check

The only upgrades from stock are the beautiful gold chain and upgraded hand guards to protect the rider’s hands and controls. Other than that, this bike remains exactly the way Yamaha intended.

The engine is absolutely spotless and runs flawlessly. These legendary 196cc air-cooled single-cylinder engines are famous for lasting virtually forever with minimal maintenance. There are countless TW200s out there with 30,000+ miles still running strong. Yamaha has been refining this platform since 1987, so there are no bugs, no gimmicks, and no complicated electronics to fail.

Features include:

• Electric start
• 5-speed transmission
• Fat balloon-style dual-sport tires
• Ultra-low seat height
• Lightweight and beginner friendly
• 100% street legal
• Incredible fuel economy
• Legendary Yamaha reliability

This bike is equally at home cruising back roads at 45–55 MPH, exploring trails, riding through sand or snow, or putting around town. Fifth gear almost feels like an overdrive — smooth, comfortable, and easy cruising all day long. Top speed is approximately 63–64 MPH based on our experience.

The TW200 is one of the most confidence-inspiring motorcycles ever made. Whether you’re a first-time rider, RV traveler, campground explorer, hunter, farmer, beach rider, or just someone looking for a fun all-season motorcycle, these things are an absolute blast.

Cosmetically, it’s extremely close to perfect. We found only the tiniest imperfections:
• Minor scratch/scuff on one bar end
• Tiny beauty mark/scuff shown in photos

That’s it.

No tank dents. No damage. Original warning labels still intact. It’s obvious this bike was cherished from day one.

Finding one this clean, this original, and this lightly used is getting harder every year.

Why buy new and spend thousands more on dealer fees when you can own this pristine Kaplan Cycles-certified TW200 for substantially less?

We can assist with financing and arrange enclosed door-to-door shipping anywhere in the country.

If you’ve been thinking about buying a TW200, don’t miss this one. There’s only one available.
