1977 BMW R100S – Factory Cafe' Racer Styled Superbike Comprehensive 130-Hour Frame-Up Restoration – $24,535 Invested
Description
This 1977 BMW R100S is more than a motorcycle — it’s a labor of love. Over the past year, our team completed a full, frame-up restoration to return this rare factory superbike to showroom-new condition. This was one of BMW’s fastest and most advanced models of its era, a quintessential café racer from the Slash-7 series, and one of the most desirable classic Boxers ever made.
The restoration was thorough: 130 hours of labor, over $5,000 in parts, and a total documented investment of $24,535. We have 52 pages of receipts and work orders covering the detail shop, paint shop, and service department. Seven staff members, including myself, worked on bringing this bike to its current condition.
